Shooting - Welcome!
Whitby and District Rifle Club is a Home Office approved and NSRA affiliated club offering target shooting with rifles and pistols.
We shoot smallbore rifle, primarily prone, benchrest and lightweight sporting rifle. We also shoot target air pistol. Some members shoot using long-barrelled pistols (LBP) chambered in .22lr
Club members compete in a variety of internal competitions and also take part in County and National competitions as individuals and teams.

Facilities
The club has three indoor ranges:
· Two 25-metre ranges for prone and benchrest rifle
· A 20-yard range (with 10 metre frames) for air pistol, lightweight sporting rifle and long-barrelled pistols.
There are viewing lounges for the 25-metre ranges with seating as well as rifle assembly and staging areas. Ammunition is available to members on coaching and league nights.
Members are welcome to use the Bar and other club facilities.
