Well situated on Whitby’s West Cliff, Whitby & District Rifle Club can be found just a few minutes stroll from the narrow streets and winding alleyways of this delightful, historic town.
Located in Captain Cook country on Yorkshire’s beautiful East Coast, close to the North Yorkshire Moors, the Whitby & District Rifle Club is an ideal venue for Christenings, Weddings, Parties, Funeral teas, Conferences, Seminars or any other special occasion. We can cater for most requirements and tailor all events to meet your personal requirements.
There are three main rooms: the large concert hall, a cosy lounge and a formal meeting room.
Refreshments can be arranged as required and there is a large adjacent car park. The Bar offers a full range of beers, wines and spirits including Theakstons Dark Smooth, Guinness, Fosters, Draught Cider, Kronenburg and a weekly real ale guest beer.

The concert room has comfortable seating for 100 people and comprises of a large stage area with separate changing room, large dance floor with easy access to the bar area. This room is ideal for Christenings, Weddings, Parties, funeral teas, conferences, seminars, meetings or any other special occasion.

Bar games are also played in this area when not used for entertainment events there are two pool tables, three dart boards and tables for playing dominos.
The concert room is available for medium to large meetings and can be opened up to join the lounge to host larger events, it can be set up Boardroom style, Class room style or Theatre style.
The concert room hosts our weekly live music and entertainment programme.

Whitby Lions host their monthly meetings in this room along with many other local groups like the Diary Farmers, Beekeepers and Whitby Motor bike club.

Meeting Room
The meeting room is located on the ground floor of the club. It can be set up Boardroom style, Class room style or Theatre style for Small to Medium meetings - up to 30 delegates depending on layout.
The meeting room also is used to lay out the catering for Christening, Weddings, Parties etc.
